With the accelerated skill gain UOPhoenix provides, its realy nothing to big to worry about.
From 0 - 30 skill you should buy from the Warrior Guildmaster.
30 - 120 Realy shoot everything. I personally went to Despise and shot Ettins in their heads.
Ask a friendly Fletcher to make a Repeating Crossbow for you and grab a few hundred bolts and head out. Mind that Repeating crossbows can only be crafted.
If you dont have access to a Repeating Crossbow, take a regular bow with you instead and arrows.
The faster the weapon speed the better.
If you dont mind skipping on monster treasure, simply shoot your friend instead. It will hurt, so keep him alive.
Weapon Selection[]
I prefer taking both a regular Bow and Heavy Crossbow with me, depending on the target. Spellcasters dont like fast hitting weapons. Big brutes, you might need something that packs alot of damage.
